Precautions Do not allow a tool to hammer excessively against a sidewall that is not being polished or the handpiece bearings will be damaged. Make sure that the Top Cover is securely tightened; a loose cover will cause excessive vibration and wear on bearing surfaces. Always unplug the New SZX Profiler from the Power Hand Controller by grip- ping the plug end, not the cord. -

Replacement of Carbon Brushes The motor in the New SZX Profiler uses a spring tension-type carbon brush assembly. The approximate life of the brushes is 800-1,000 hours.
