Development environment
Banksys has developed a set of tools for easy and rapid development of applications on its
terminals. The Linux-based development kit contains:
A description of the two development frameworks.

o A backward-compatibility environment (SBCE) for customers who want to port
existing C-ZAM/SMASH applications onto the C-ZAM/XENTA terminal
o A more powerful SAMOA environment (MAPS) that allows customers to exploit the
full functionality of C-ZAM/XENTA.
A simulator, compiler, debugger and associated documentation to develop

applications in Native C or Java on a Linux PC in both development environments
without having the real C-ZAM/XENTA terminal at hand
