TransparentOneEncorespeakershavebass,treble,andvolumeadjustments,and allowyoutochoosewhethertheactivespeakerisintheleftorrightposition. LocatetheL–Rswitch(10)onthebackoftheactivespeaker. Settheswitchtodesignatewhethertheactivespeakeristhespeakeronyour left(L)orright(R)whenyouarefacingbothofthespeakersfromthefront. Turntheaudiosourcedevicevolumeupto¾tofull. Turntheactivespeakervolumeknob(1)uptothemaximumvolumeyoudesire. Thisshouldprovideagoodvolumecombinationsothat,inthefuture,you shouldonlyneedtoadjustthevolumecontrolonyouraudiodevicetoachieve yourdesiredlisteningvolume.Adjustthevolumecombinationdownifyour settingscausedistortion.Aswithallspeakers,prolongeddistortioncancause permanentdamage. Rotatethetreble(2)andbass(3)controlstoadjustthetoneasdesired.Inmost cases,theoptimumsettingforaflatfrequencyresponseistosetthetrebleand bassknobsatthedetents(straightupposition).Thisisourdefaultsetting.     CONNECTING TO A BLUETOOTH DEVICE TheVanatooT1EhasanaptXenabledwirelessBluetoothreceiverbuiltintotheactive speaker.ConnectingtotheT1E’sBluetoothreceiverisverysimple.Onceyoupowerupthe T1EtheBluetoothreceiverbeginstosearchfordevicestoconnect.Whenyousee“Vanatoo T1E-xxxx”(wherethexxxxisauniquenumberforeachT1E)onyourlistofdevicesonyour mobiledevicejustselectitandtheconnectionwillbecompletedwithinseconds.Youcan nowplayyourmusicwirelesslyfromyourBluetoothenabledmusicsource.Anytimeyou wanttodisconnectyourdevicefromtheT1Eyoucaneitherdothatdirectlyonyourmusic source(e.g.iPhoneorAndroidphone),oryoucanpushthe“Pair-Prog”buttonontheback oftheT1Eactivespeaker,oryoucanhit“enable”followedby“BTPair”ontheremote.     When switching from a higher priority input to a lower priority input, the higher priority input must be OFF (or silent) for 7 seconds before the T1E amplifier will switch to the lower priority input. Thisenablestheamplifiertodiscernbetweenthehigherinputbeing turnedoffandnormalinter-tracksilencethusavoidingswitchingtothelowerpriorityinput betweenaudiotracks.This7secondwaittimeisnotnecessarywhenswitchingfromasource thatislowerinprioritytoonethatishigher.Therefore,switchingfromalowerpriorityinputto ahigherpriorityinputwillhappenalmostimmediately. www.vanatoo.com 11...
