! Electrical products can cause death or injury, or damage to property. This product must be
installed only by a competent electrician.
1 Ensure mains supply is switched off before commencing work.
2 If necessary cut LED strip to the required length at the locations marked on the strip (Every
5 LED's),
3 Using the supplied end-cap & glue, glue the end-cap onto the end of the strip. Ensure the
end-cap is secure and sealed.
4 Mounting the strip,
a.Self adhesive strip, remove the protective cover to reveal adhesive strip. Place the strip
onto the desired location and press down firmly. Ensure the strip is secure.
b.Clips: use a minimum of 4 clips per metre. Place the strip along the desired position.
Mark the locations of where the clips are required, keeping them equally spaced. Fix
clips to surface using self adhesive strip or screws. Pull cable tie tightly on to strip, ensure
the strip is secure, cut-off excess cable tie.
5. Mark the appropriate mounting positions on the surface; check that fixings will not impinge
on concealed cables or pipes before drilling.
Attention: The provided accessories "cable pin end" has stated that "Top 1" and "Top 2",
which should match the same mark on strips. please ensure the correct pin insert the strips.
DMX Control system:
1, Connect the strips to Decoder(RK3EXT) use the live end RKPC2 which is included with the
Strips and connect to decoder. Decoder will operate with RKPS240. IP box (RKIPB2)
available for the decoder if IP rating required.
2, The DMX is supplied with CAT5 signal cable, connect the CAT5 cable between DMX and
decoder (5m max length); DMX is powered by 12V DC supply –RKBSP1; Pin EU plug available:
RKEUPI; the DMX is supplied with a remote control). To connect to additional decoder, 2m of
CAT5 cable supplied (max length between decoder and DMX is10m)
3, Each 20 meter strips can be controlled by 1pcs 240w power supply (RKPS240).
4, The provided accessory Repeater (RKRPT1), will extended to another 20 meter strips
(repeater will operate with RKPS240 ). solve the problem which caused by power limitation and
long transmitting distance.When connecting to end of LED strip please reverse connections,
This will ensure the correct pin connections
RK2RGB Control system:
1, Connect the strips to 200W RGB control (RK2RGB) use the "cable pin end" which included with
the strips, the accessory IP box (RK1PB1) used for connection fitting with
RGB control; the remote control included with RK2RGB.
2, Connect the RGB Control to 240W Power supply (RKPS240), use with accessory IP box
(RKIPB1)
3, Each 20 meter strips can be controlled by 1pcs 240w power supply (RKPS240).
4, Repeater (RKRPT1) is required for more than 20m lengths, used in conjunction with the
RKPS240 another 20m can be controlled.
