Assembly Guide : 50mm Compact Refractor Telescope

Congratulations! You have bought a wonderful telescope. This is a precision optical instrument,
and you have many wonderful evenings of observing the night sky ahead of you. This guide is
meant to help you assemble your telescope properly.
We know that many people are visually oriented and that pictures of the assembly process are
helpful. That's why we've included this assembly guide, full of pictures to help you along.

Step 1: Insert Eyepiece into Angle Prism

The first step is super simple! Locate one of your Eyepieces and the Angle Prism. Make
sure the small set screw on the Angle Prism is loosened enough so that the silver end of
the Eyepiece slides right in (Figure 1). Then, simply tighten the set screw to secure the
two together (Figure 2).

To use the TwinStar Telescopes 50mm Compact Refractor Telescope, follow these steps:

1. Attach the Eyepiece to the Angle Prism
- Loosen the Angle Prism enough so that the silver end of the Eyepiece slides in.
- Tighten the set screw to secure them together.

2. Insert the Angle Prism into the Focusing Tube
- Insert the silver end of the Angle Prism into the opening in the Focusing Tube.
- Secure it in place using the set screw.

3. Attach the Telescope to the Tripod
- Spread the tripod legs by pulling the central piece downward until it is parallel to the surface.
- Remove the Large Hand Screw and nut from the bottom of the Telescope.
- Place the Telescope on the Tripod.
