Tip:
IF the name or number is already in your phone book, you will see: Duplicate name or
number. Press [END] and start storing again.
Editing a memory location
You can use this feature to add a number to an entry, change an old number, or duplicate an
entry to make a similar one in a snap.
1.
Enter menu
Press [FCN] then [MENU].
2.
Enter phone book
Press [MENU] to select: Phone Book.
3.
Begin editing
Press [↑] or [↓] to scroll to: Edit memory, and press [MENU] to select.

Find by location
Press [↑] or [↓] to scroll to: Edit by location, and press [MENU] to select. You will see:
Location ___. Enter the two digit memory location of the phone number you want to edit.
Press [MENU] or [STO] and continue with step 5.
or find by name:
Press [↑] or [↓] to scroll to: Edit by name, and press [MENU] to select. You will see:
Enter 1st letter. Enter the first letter of the name you want to edit. (See page ___ for
information on entering letters.) You will see the first entry beginning with that letter.
Press [↑] or [↓] to scroll to the name you are looking for. Press [MENU] or [STO] and
continue with step 5.
5.
Select number
Press [↑] or [↓] to scroll to the icon of the number to be edited (if more than one). Press
[STO] to select. You will see the number.
Or add number:
Press [↑] or [↓] to scroll to the empty cursor and press [STO] to select. You will see:
Enter number.
6.
Edit/ add phone number
Enter digits. Press [CLR] to erase a digit at a time, or press and hold CLR to erase the
entire number. Press [← *] to move the cursor backward.
7.
Finish number
Press [MENU] or [STO] when you finish the phone number.
8.
Select icon
Press [↑] or [↓] to scroll through the icons and press [MENU] to select the highlighted
icon. The display will show the current location.
9.
Change original
If you would like to save your changes in the same location, then press [MENU] or
[STO]. You will see the name associated with the entry.
