    BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL (See Fig. 10) The engine in your tractor has been shipped, fromthe factory, already filled with summer weight oil Check engine oil with tractor on level ground. ° Remove oilfil! cap/dipstickand wipe clean, reinsertthe dipstick and push it all the way down intothe tube,wait for a few seconds, remove and read oil level, necessary, add oil until "FULU' mark on dipstick is...

  • Page 19 CUSTOMER TRANSAXLE COOLING The fan and cooling fins of transmission should be kept clean to assure proper cooling., Do not attempt to clean fan or transmission while engine is running or while the transmission is hot, possible damage to seals, no not use high pressure water or steam to clean transaxle.

    CAUTION: BEFORE PERFORMING ANY SERVICE OR ADJUSTMENTS: Depress clutch/brake pedal fully and set parking brake. Place motion control lever in neutral (N) position. • Place attachment clutch in "DISENGAGED" ° Turn ignition key "OFF" and remove key. Make sure the blades and all moving parts have completely stopped. °...
