1. Select "Setup Menu" in "Menu" screen. See page E22.

2. Press [ENTER] (or [a]).
"Recording Setup" is highlighted.
3. Press [p] to select "Audio".
4. Press [ENTER] (or [a]).
"Audio Setup" screen appears.

Press SETUP to exit Current selection
5. Press [p] or [o] to select "Digital Out" or "DRC".

Setting "Digital Out"

If the coaxial or optical DIGITAL AUDIO OUT jack is connected
to the digital amplifier, you must set as follows:
1. Select "Digital Out".
2. Press [ENTER] (or [a]) to select the sub menu.

DRC ON
Press SETUP to exit Current selection
3. Press [p] or [o] to select "ON" or "OFF".
4. Press [ENTER]. "√" appears.
5. Press [b] to return to "Digital Out".

Setting "DRC (Dynamic Range Control)"

1. Select "DRC".

2. Press [ENTER] (or [a]) to select the sub menu.

3. Press [p] or [o] to select "OFF, "STD" or "TV".
OFF: Off position
STD: When connecting the amplifier to the AUDIO OUT
jacks (not DIGITAL AUDIO OUT jacks)
TV: When using 3 or 4 channel on TV
4. Press [ENTER].
"√" appears.
5. Press [b] to return to "DRC".
Notes:
• Press [b] again to return to "Menu" screen.
• Press [SETUP] to close the screen.
