- Page 2 TO STOP ENGINE S A F E T Y ALWAYS start the engine in the open air Close the throttle. DO NOT smoke when refuelling Engage clutch lever. DO NOT mix OIL with the fuel Locate gear lever in neutral position. ALWAYS stop the engine before making any adjustments, Disengage drive to the digging knives.
