Avoid placing the motion detector in proximity to
potential sources of interference such as: reflective
surfaces, direct air flow from vents, fans, windows,
sources of steam/oil vapor, and objects causing
temperature changes such as heaters, refrigerators,
ovens, and infrared light sources. Do not place objects
or furniture higher than 0.9m (3ft), which a pet can
climb onto (e.g. a cat on a couch), within 2.1m (7ft) of
the detector. In addition, do not aim the detector at a
stairway to which a pet may have access.

Jumper J1 sets the time interval in which the detector communicates

detected. The red LED indicator light will blink rapidly when the motion

After changing the jumper settings, replace the cover to close the anti-tamper switch, or

Inmune a Mascotas
El que un animal no genere falsas alarmas
depende de su tamaño, temperatura, y del largo
de su pelaje. El pelo largo y el tamaño pequeño
disminuyen la generación de falsas alarmas,
mientras que un animal de pelo corto y gran
tamaño tiene más posibilidades de crear una
falsa alarma. Si se necesita un nivel de
inmunidad superior, como cuando hay presencia
constante de animales en el área protegida,
recomendamos usar el infrarrojo digital PMD75
de funcionamiento superior con sensor doble
(inmunidad real contra mascotas de 40kg/90lb)

del PMD1P aún no ha sido inspeccionada por
UL.
Configuración de Puentes El Puente JP1 define el intervalo de tiempo en el cual el detector

Encendido del Detector Inalámbrico
Para encender el detector, seguir las instrucciones que se encuentran en la cubierta del detector. Luego de haber
insertado las baterías, se inicia una secuencia de encendido (que dura entre 10 y 30 segundos). Durante este tiempo, la luz
LED roja parpadea y el detector no detecta zonas abiertas ni sabotajes.
Batería Baja
El PMD1P efectúa una prueba de batería cada 12 horas. Si el voltaje de la batería cae por debajo de un cierto
nivel, la luz LED roja parpadea a intervalos de 5 segundos y el detector de movimiento envia una señal de batería
baja al receptor. Se generará un fallo que será transmitido luego a la central receptora.
Software Alive
Para conservar la vida útil de la batería, si el detector de movimiento transmite 2 señales de zona abierta (luz LED
iluminada por 2 seg.) al interior de 5 minutos, el detector entra en el Modo de Ahorro de Energía y no transmite
ninguna señal de alarma por aproximadamente 3 minutos. La luz LED roja sigue parpadeando para indicar la
detección. Si la cubierta del detector es quitada y repuesta durante el Modo de Ahorro de Energía, la primera
detección activará una señal de alarma.
Prueba Caminando
Para activar el Modo de Prueba Caminando por tres minutos, encender el detector o abrir y cerrar su cubierta. En
el modo rápido (J4 = ON), a una temperatura de 20º C, atravesar más de una zona completa (consistente de 2
haces - elementos de detección derecho e izquierdo) caminando lento /rápido o corriendo, debe generar una
alarma. En el modo lento (J4 = OFF), se requiere el doble de la cantidad de movimiento para generar una alarma.
Prueba de Fuerza de la Señal
Para verificar que la recepción de la señal es la adecuada, efectuar una prueba de fuerza de señal como se
describe en el Manual de Instalación y Consulta del receptor. Antes de realizar la prueba, verificar que las baterías
fueron instaladas. Comprobar también si el detector de movimiento fue asignado a una zona según las
instrucciones del Manual de Instalación y Consulta del receptor. Si la transmisión es débil, mover el transmisor tan
sólo unos pocos centímetros puede mejorar considerablemente la recepción.
