Operating Instructions
Power on: Connect the Q4 to an external power source (such as vehicle adaptor,
power socket) with its charging cord.
Battery placement: The Q4 has 4 slots and each one
can be charged independently. It is compatible with
multiple size Li-ion batteries. Please put one battery in
each slot according to the polarity mark on the charger.
Incorrect installation will result in failure to initiate the
charging process and the red LED indicators will blink
quickly to notify users.
After batteries installation, the Q4 automatically
detects batteries. The red LED indicators will illuminate
during charging. The green LED indicators will turn on
automatically once charging has completed.
NOTE:
1. The charger is restricted to charging Li-ion and IMR
batteries, if installing other types of battery, the red
LED indicators will blink quickly to notify users.
2. When charging 1 or 2 batteries, it is recommended
to put it in slot 1 or slot 4 in order to charge it at top
slot 1 slot 2 slot 3 slot 4

Battery Activation
The Q4 is capable of activating depleted Li-ion batteries with protective circuit. After
batteries installation, the Q4 will automatically test and activate the batteries before
charging. When the voltage of battery is too low, the red LED indicators will blink
quickly to notify users.
NOTE: Do not charge over-discharged (zero volt) UNPROTECTED Li-ion batteries as
doing so may cause fire or explosion.
Overtime Prevention
The Q4 has overtime prevention. It will individually monitor the elapsed charging time
for each battery slot and if a particular slot exceeds 15 hours, the Q4 will automatically
stop charging and the green LED indicators will illuminate to indicate completion of the
charging process. This feature reduces the risk caused by batteries of lower quality.
Reverse Polarity Protection and Short Circuit
Protection
If there are batteries inserted with polar reversed or short-circuited, the red indicators
of the relevant channel will blink quickly to notify users.
Cautions
1. The charger is restricted to charging Li-ion and IMR rechargeable batteries only.
Never use the charger with other types of batteries as this could result in battery
explosion, cracking or leaking, causing property damage and/or personal injury.
2. The safe operation temperature for the charger is between -10~40°C, and the safe
storage temperature is -20~60°C.
3. Please charge batteries in accordance with the specifications on the back.
4. Observe polarity diagrams located on the charger. Always place the battery cells with
positive tip facing the top.
5. Do not leave a working charger unattended. If any malfunction is found, please
terminate operation immediately and turn to user manual for instruction.
6. The charger is for use of adults above 18 years old. Children under this age must be
supervised by an adult when using the charger.
7. Never attempt to charge primary cells such as Zinc-Carbon, Lithium, CR123A, CR2,
or any other unsupported chemistry due to risk of explosion and fire.
8. Do not charge a damaged IMR battery as doing so may lead to charger short circuit
or even explosion.
9. Never charge or discharge any battery having evidence of leakage, expansion/
swelling, damaged outer wrapper or case, colour-change or distortion.
10. Use the original adapter and cord for power supply. To reduce the risk of damage to
the power cord, always pull by connector rather than the cord. Do not operate the
charger if it appears damaged in any way.
11. Exclusively used in indoor and car. Do not expose the device to direct sunlight,
heating devices, open flames, or rain and snow environment; avoid extreme high or
extreme low ambient temperatures and sudden temperature changes.
12. Please operate the charger in a well-ventilated area. Do not operate or store it in
damp area. Keep all the inflammable volatile substances away from operating area.
13. Avoid mechanical vibration or shock as these may cause damage to the device.
14. Do not place metal wires or other conductive material into the charger in case of
explosion or other accidents caused by short circuit.
15. Do not touch hot surfaces. The rechargeable batteries or the device may become
hot at full load or high power charging/discharging.
16. Remove all batteries and unplug the charging unit from the power source when not
in use.
17. Opening, disassembling, modifying, tampering with the unit may invalidate its
guarantee, check warranty terms.

Warranty Details
Our authorized dealers and distributors are responsible for warranty service. Should
any problem covered under warranty occurs, customers can contact their dealers or
distributors in regards to their warranty claims, as long as the product was purchased
from an authorized dealer or distributor. NITECORE's Warranty is provided only for
products purchased from an authorized source. This applies to all NITECORE products.
To be qualified for warranty, please refer to the "IMPORTANT WARRANTY NOTICE"
section on top to validate your product.
Any DOA / defective product can be exchanged for a replacement through a local
distributor/dealer within the 15 days of purchase. After 15 days, all defective /
malfunctioning NITECORE products can be repaired free of charge for a periodof

12 months (1 year) from the date of purchase. Beyond 12 months (1 year), a limited
warranty applies, covering the cost of labor and maintenance, but not the cost of
accessories or replacement parts.
The warranty is nullified if the product(s) is/are:
1. broken down, reconstructed and/or modified by unauthorized parties
2. damaged from wrong operations (i.e. reverse polarity installation, installation of non-
rechargeable batteries), or
3. damaged by batteries leakage.

Instrucciones de operación
Encendido: Conecte el Q4 a una fuente de energía externa (adaptador para auto, toma

Colocación de las baterías: EL Q4 tiene 4 bahías y cada una puede cargar

Activación de baterías
El Q4 es capaz de activar baterías Li-ion agotadas con circuito de protección. Después
de instalar las baterías, el Q4 automáticamente probará y activará las baterías antes de

Prevención de sobre tiempo
El Q4 tiene prevención contra sobretiempo. Monitoreará individualmente el tiempo de
carga transcurrido para cada bahía, y si alguna bahía en particular excede 15 horas, el Q4

Precauciones
1. El cargador está restringido a cargar únicamente baterías recargables Li-ion e IMR.

2. La temperatura segura de operación para el cargador es entre -10~40°C, y la

8. No cargue una batería IMR dañada, ya que podría generar un corto circuito en el

Bedienungsanleitung
Einschalten
Schließen Sie den Q4 mit dem Ladekabel an eine externe Stromquelle an (wie z.B.
Autoadapter, Steckdose).
Einlegen der Akkus
Der Q4 hat vier Slots und jeder kann unabhängig laden.
Er ist kompatibel mit mehreren Größen von Li-Ionen-
Akkus. Legen Sie je einen Akku in einen Ladeschacht
- entsprechend der Polaritätsmarkierung auf dem
Ladegerät. Eine falsche Installation führt zum Abbruch des
Ladevorgangs und die LED-Anzeigen blinken schnell.
Nach der Installation der Akkus erkennt der Q4 automatisch
den Akku-Typ. Während des Ladevorgangs leuchten die
LED-Anzeigen rot. Sobald der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen
ist, leuchten die LED-Anzeigen grün.
HINWEIS:
1. Das Ladegerät ist beschränkt auf das Aufladen von Li-
Ionen- und IMR-Akkus. Werden andere Akku-Typen
eingelegt, blinken die LED-Anzeigen rot und schnell, um
den Benutzer darauf hinzuweisen.

Akku Reaktivierung
Der Q4 ist in der Lage, tiefentladene Li-Ionen-Akkus mit Schutzschaltung zu reaktivieren.
Nach der Installation der Akkus wird der Q4 die Akkus vor dem Aufladen automatisch testen
und reaktivieren. Wenn die Spannung des Akkus zu niedrig ist, blinken die LED-Anzeigen rot
und schnell, um Benutzer zu benachrichtigen.
HINWEIS: Versuchen Sie nicht, tiefentladene, ungeschützte Akkus (Null Volt) aufzuladen.
Diese können bei dem Versuch Feuer und Explosionen verursachen.
Überladeschutz
Der Q4 hat einen zeitgesteuerten Überladeschutz. Die verstrichene Ladezeit wird für
jeden Ladeschacht einzeln überwacht. Wenn ein Ladeschacht die Ladezeit von 15 Stunden
überschreitet, wird der Q4 den Ladevorgang automatisch stoppen, und die LED-Anzeigen
leuchten grün, um einen beendeten Ladevorgang anzuzeigen. Diese Funktion reduziert das
Risiko von Schäden am Ladegerät oder an den Akkus durch Akkus geringerer Qualität.
Verpolungsschutz und Schutz vor Kurzschluss
Wenn die Akkus verkehrt herum oder kurzgeschlossene Akkus eingelegt sind, blinken die
LEDs des entsprechenden Ladeschachts rot und schnell.
Sicherheitshinweise
1. Der Q4 darf nur zum Laden von wiederaufladbaren Li-Ionen- und IMR- Akkus verwendet
werden. Die Verwendung des Q4 mit anderen Akku-Typen kann zur Explosion, zum Bruch
oder zum Auslaufen des Akkus und in Folge dessen zu Sach- und/oder Personenschäden
führen.
2. Die Betriebstemperatur des Q4-Laders liegt zwischen -10° C und +40° C, die sichere
Lagerungstemperatur liegt zwischen -20° C und 60° C.
3. Bitte laden Sie die Akkus gemäß den Angaben auf deren Rückseite auf.
4. Beachten Sie Polaritätshinweise auf dem Ladegerät. Legen Sie die Akkus immer mit dem
positiven Pol nach oben ein.
5. Lassen Sie das Ladegerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt, wenn es an eine Stromversorgung
angeschlossen ist. Wird eine Fehlfunktion festgestellt, beenden Sie den Vorgang und
beachten Sie die Bedienungsanleitung.
6. Das Ladegerät ist konzipiert zur Nutzung durch Erwachsene. Kinder unter 18 Jahren
sollen das Ladegerät nur unter Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen benutzen.
7. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die richtigen Einstellungen ausgewählt und eingestellt wurden.
Falsche Einstellungen können Schäden am Ladegerät oder zum Brand oder zur Explosion
führen.
8. Versuchen Sie nicht, einen beschädigten IMR Akku zu laden. Nichtbeachtung kann zum
Kurzschluss am Ladegerät oder sogar zur Explosion führen.
9. Laden oder entladen Sie niemals einen Akku mit Anzeichen von Leckage, Schwellungen,
beschädigter Außenhaut, unnormalen Farbveränderungen oder Verformungen.
10. Verwenden Sie den Original-Adapter und das Originalkabel zur Stromversorgung. Um die
Gefahr einer Beschädigung des Netzkabels zu verringern, ziehen Sie immer am Stecker
und nicht am Kabel. Nehmen Sie das Ladegerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn es in irgendeiner
Weise beschädigt zu sein scheint.
11. Betreiben Sie den Q4-Lader nur in Räumen oder Fahrzeugen. Betreiben Sie ihn
nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen, direktem Sonnenlicht, Heizgeräten oder
in einer Umgebung mit besonders hohen oder tiefen Temperaturen oder extremen
Temperaturschwankungen.
12. Betreiben Sie das Ladegerät in gut belüfteten Räumen. Betreiben oder lagern Sie es
nicht in feuchter Umgebung. Halten Sie es fern von allen brennbaren oder flüchtigen
Substanzen.
13. Vermeiden Sie mechanische Vibrationen oder Erschütterungen, da diese zu Schäden am
Gerät führen können.
14. Schließen Sie den Ladeschacht oder andere Teile des Gerätes nicht kurz. Legen Sie keine
Metalldrähte oder anderes leitfähiges Material in das Ladegerät.
15. Berühren Sie keine heißen Oberflächen. Die Akkus oder das Gerät können bei hoher
Belastung oder durch Laden/Entladen heiß werden.
16. Entfernen Sie alle Akkus und trennen Sie das Ladegerät von der Stromquelle, wenn das
Gerät nicht in Gebrauch ist.
17. Öffnen, zerlegen oder modifizieren das Gerät nicht, da bei jeglicher Manipulation die
Garantie erlischt. Lesen sie hierzu die Garantiebedingungen.

defekten oder fehlerhaften NITECORE Produkte für einen Zeitraum von 12 Monaten (1

Jahr) ab Kaufdatum kostenlos repariert werden. Über 12 Monate (1 Jahr) hinaus deckt die
Garantie die Arbeitskosten, jedoch nicht die Kosten für Zubehör- oder Ersatzteile.
Der Garantieanspruch erlischt beim Eintritt folgender Umstände:

Instructions
Alimentation : Branchez l'extrémité correspondante du cordon d'alimentation au chargeur
et l'autre extrémité à une prise d'alimentation adaptée (secteur ou allume-cigare dans la
voiture).
Mise en place batteries : Placez les batteries dans
chaque emplacement indépendant en respectant la polarité
indiquée sur le chargeur. En cas de mauvaise mise en
place, la charge ne débutera pas et les indicateurs LED
clignoteront rapidement pour informer l'utilisateur.
Charge intelligente : Le chargeur Q4 adopte
automatiquement le courant de charge approprié en
fonction du type de batterie. L'indicateur rouge va
s'allumer pendant la charge. L'indicateur vert s'allumera
automatiquement une fois que la charge terminée..
NOTE:
1. Seules les batteries Li-Ion et IMR peuvent être chargées
avec le chargeur Q4. Si vous tentez de recharger
d'autres type de batteries, les indicateurs LED rouget
clignoteront rapidement pour informer l'utilisateur. Le
chargeur .
2. Lorsque vous ne chargez que 1 à 2 batteries, veiller à
placer les batteries dans les emplacements 1 et 4 pour
slot 1 slot 2 slot 3 slot 4
optimiser la charge ( courant de charge 2A).
Activation de la batterie
Le nouveau chargeur Q4 possède une fonction destinée à réactiver les batteries Li-ion trop
déchargées. Après l'installation de la batterie, la charge se lance automatiquement. Une
batterie trop sévèrement déchargée peut ne pas être récupérée.
Attention : Ne lancez pas le processus de réactivation avec une batterie insérée à l'envers
ou trop sévèrement déchargée (OV) ; cela pourrait causer un feu ou une explosion
Protection contre la surcharge
Le nouveau chargeur Q4 gère chaque emplacement individuellement et enregistre la durée
de charge de chaque batterie. Le chargeur arrête automatiquement la charge pour toute
batterie qui est en charge depuis plus de 15 heures et n'est pas encore complètement
chargée. L'indicateur indique alors la fin du processus de charge. Cela permet d'éviter les
problèmes de surcharge, de surchauffe et d'explosion dus à des batteries de basse qualité.
Protection contre l'inversion de polarité et les
courts-circuits
Lorsqu'une batterie est court-circuitée ou instérée à l'envers, les indiacteurs LED rouge
clignoteront rapidement pour informer l'utilisateur.
Précautions
1. L'utilisation du chargeur est restreinte aux batteries rechargeables Li-ion et IMR. N'utilisez
jamais le chargeur Q4 avec d'autres types de batteries ; les batteries pourraient exploser
ou fuir et cela pourrait causer des dommages matériels et/ou personnels..
2. La plage de température appropriée pour le chargeur en opération est -10°C-40°C, et
-20°C-60°C lorsqu'il est inactif.
3. Pour charger les batteries, respectez les spécifications inscrites au dos.
4. Respectez les indications de polarité écrites sur le chargeur. Orientez toujours le pole
positif vers le haut.
5. Ne laissez jamais le chargeur sans surveillance lorsqu'il est connecté à une source
d'énergie. Si vous constatez un dysfonctionnement, arrêtez la charge immédiatement et
référez-vous au mode d'emploi.
6. L'utilisation de ce chargeur est réservée aux adultes de plus de 18 ans. Les enfants en
dessous de cet âge doivent être supervisés par un adulte quand ils utilisent ce chargeur.
7. Ne tentez jamais de charger des piles, du type Alcaline, Zinc-Carbone, Lithium, CR123A,
CR2, ou de n'importe quel autre type. Elles pourraient exploser ou fuir
8. Ne chargez jamais une batterie IMR endommagée. Elle pourrait exploser ou causer un
court-circuit dans le chargeur.
9. Ne chargez jamais une batterie qui a fui ou a gonflé ou dont l'enveloppe est
endommagée
10. Utilisez l'adaptateur original pour l'alimentation. Pour éviter d'endommager le câble, tirez
toujours sur la connexion plutôt que sur le cordon. N'utilisez pas le chargeur s'il parait
endommagé de quelque manière que ce soit.
11. Usage intérieur ou dans une voiture. N'utilisez pas et ne stockez pas le chargeur près
de flammes, à la lumière directe du soleil ou près d'appareils de chauffage. Evitez les
températures ambiantes trop basses ou trop hautes et les changements brutaux de
température
12. Utilisez le chargeur dans des espaces bien ventilés. Ne l'utilisez pas et ne le stockez
pas dans un environnement trop humide. N'approchez pas de substances volatiles
inflammables du chargeur.
13. Evitez les vibrations mécaniques et les chocs qui pourraient endommager le chargeur.
14. Ne court-circuitez pas les différents emplacements. N'insérez pas de fils métalliques ou
autres matériaux conducteurs à l'intérieur du chargeur.
15. Ne touchez pas les surfaces chaudes. Les batteries ou l'appareil peuvent devenir très
chaudes
16. Lorsque le chargeur n'est pas utilisé, retirez toutes les batteries et débranchez le
chargeur.
17. Ouvrir, démonter et modifier l'unité peut invalider la garantie. Vérifiez les termes de la
garantie ci-dessous.
