Mounting clips
(qty 2 for all models, except
71.5'' which comes with three)

Mounting on the back of your desk

Step 1
Place a plastic Mounting clip in the center of each exposed portion of the
steel bar on the Modesty panel. Make sure the clips are facing IN. Make sure
the wire management flap on the panel is facing the inside of the desktop so
you can place your wires in the pouch.
Step 2
Center the modesty panel under the desktop about 1" from of the back edge*.
*NOTE:
the modesty panel more toward the front of the desk as needed.
Step 3
Once you decide on the placement, mark the location of the mounting clips
and holes with a pencil mark. Depending on the material of your desktop sur-
face, you may need to drill pilot holes. Use a drill with a 1/8" drill bit to make
pilot holes no deeper than 1/2''. Attach using the 1/2'' screws and a Phillips
head screwdriver.
CAUTION: If you have the 28.5'' model, Do NOT use the 1'' screws contained
in the Side-Mount Hardware Pack.
Step 4
After the modesty panel is secured, undo the panel's Velcro and route your
cables through the inside mesh pocket. When all cables are in place, use the
Velcro to close the panel.
Mounting the 28.5'' model on the side of your desk
The 28.5'' wide Modesty panels have the option to be mounted to the side
of your UPLIFT Desk.
If you choose to mount your 28.5'' model to the side of the desk, open the
Side-Mount Hardware Pack and follow those instructions
