8.4. Controlling the IP camera
remotely using a computer
(PC) (via the Internet)
The camera software MEDION IP Cam Tool can be
found on the supplied CD and can be used to control
the camera remotely via the Internet.
 Open the file MEDION IP CAM TOOL.exe and fol-
low the instructions for the installation.
 The software will open after it has been successful-
ly installed. You can also start the program by dou-
ble clicking on the
1) Menu bar
2) Overview of the camera (click again to end this
option)
