    Your phone is equipped with a Location feature for use in connection with location-based services that may be available in the future (page 52). Your phone’s external LCD display allows you to monitor the phone’s status and to see who’s calling without opening the phone.

    Turning Your Phone Off To turn your phone off: Press and hold powering-down animation on the display screen. Your screen remains blank while your phone is off (unless the battery is charging).   • Page 41 Battery Capacity Your phone is equipped with a Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery. It allows you to recharge your battery before it is fully drained. The battery provides up to 3 hours and 10 minutes of continuous digital talk time. When the battery reaches 5% of its capacity, the battery icon blinks.

Grip the battery at the bottom and pull up and out at a 45-degree angle.     Calling Emergency Numbers You can place calls to 911 (dial even if your phone is locked or your account is restricted. Note: When you place an emergency call, your phone automatically enters Emergency mode. During an emergency call, press Options (right softkey) to display your options.
