Web Clipping is basically a query and response technique that
gathers information from the Internet and downloads it to
your phone. The process works like this:
First, you open a Web Clipping application that provides
the desired information, for example Movie Listings.
Next, a query is sent for specific information. For example,
movie listings in your zip code.
Next, you enter a zip code in a space provided and tap a
"Submit" button to request the desired movie listings from
the Internet.
The web clipping application sends the request to the
Internet and returns quickly with a clipping that gives the
piece of information requested. In this case, current movie
listings in your zip code.
