10.5 Inserting storage blocks

WARNING Burns
Broken insulation can lead to the casing overheating.
f Check the thermal insulation in the appliance for transport
f
damage.
f Replace faulty thermal insulation.
f
The appliance must be completely free of foreign bodies such as
parts of the packaging.
f Remove the cover panel and cardboard inserts from the inte-
f
rior of the appliance.
The storage blocks are delivered in separate packaging. Storage
blocks with slight transport damage can be used. This does not
impair the function of the appliance.

f To insert the storage blocks, raise the heating elements
f
slightly.
f When raising the heating elements, ensure the through
f
holes in the side insulation are not widened by the heating
elements.
f Insert the first storage block, with the heating element cavity
f
pointing upwards, with some clearance to the r.h. thermal
insulation.

f Push the storage block up against the r.h. and back thermal

insulation. The long holes form the heating ducts.
f Insert the other storage blocks in the order shown.

f Push the cover panel taken from the interior of the appliance

over the upper storage blocks.
