Hostess do not recommend leaving this product connected to the mains supply for more than
2 hours during any 6 hour period.
Your Hostess Warming Plate is a special hotplate requiring only 8 minutes to reach the required
temperature; the plate then stays warm (after unplugging) for 60 minutes. The product features
automatic temperature control, indicator lamps and a removable cord.

INSTRUCTIONS

Connect the cord supplied to the WARMING PLATE and plug it into the mains. As long as the
WARMING PLATE is plugged in, the red indicator lamp will always be on.
After switching on, the plate takes around 8 minutes to reach full temperature.
temperature is reached, the heating element is switched off and the green indicator lamp comes on.
If the appliance cools down, the thermostat switches on automatically, provided the WARMING
PLATE is still connected to the mains. This means the appliance is protected from overheating at
all times.
Because it has a removable cord, the plate can be placed anywhere, independent of the electrical
supply. Your WARMING PLATE still continues to give off heat for a full 60 minutes after it has
been disconnected.
Ensure that the plate is always placed on a flat, level and sturdy surface before putting food on it.
To keep dishes warm, you are advised to use crockery with flat bases and edges which are not too
high. This is because the edges can cause heat to be lost. Covering the dishes makes them stay
warm even longer.
WARNING! Your WARMING PLATE has a high-quality brushed steel surface. Place dishes
carefully onto the plate. Porcelain and china may cause scratches if scraped across the surface.
