Operating Gardtec 500
To alleviate any possibility of error, always insert 0 (zero) in front of a user code entry.
0 (zero) should not be used as part of a user code.
Function

(ie night set or garage set)
NB:- After unsetting the
system after zone omits
the display will identify the
zones omitted during the
last setting
Changing the User Code
NB:- Remember not to use
a 0 (zero) as part of a code
Chime Function
(for walk testing detectors
or identifying area
movement)
To remove chime function
press 0 (zero)
Sounder Test
To Read Event Log
(last 13 events)
To Clear Display

Entry sounder starts
intermittant tone
Entry sounder silences
Exit sound starts

duration of exit time

code in sequence followed

c) Panel returns to unset
Movement through any
detector while system is
unset creates a 2 second
tone
External sounder & strobe
will sound for 10 seconds
follwed by internal sounder
for 10 seconds
Display will scroll through
last 13 events of activation
