4. Troubleshooting
HDD Replacement(only for BD-F8500)
•
When
- When you change HDD device, you have to format HDD.
•
Method
- Step1 : Copy 'HDD_FORMAT_FLAG', 'musicMetaDB.db' file to USB.
- Step2 : Connect the USB to player.
- Step3 : In the Menu screen, put "5 4 8 3 1" in order on remocon.
- Step4 : In screen "HDD Format" character will be appeared, and then player will be rebooted.
- Step5 : After Set reboots, in the Menu screen put "5 4 8 3 2" in order on remocon maintaining a connection with USB.
- Step6 : On the VFD "DBCOPY" character will be appeared, and then player will be off.
Factory reset

When
- When you want reset device.
•
Method
- Step1 : Eject BD or DVD disc.
- Step2 : Call the home menu.
- Step3 : Press 'Stop' button on the touch panel during 5 seconds. - Step4 : Hold off the Stop button. Device will
be turned off.
