16. Troubleshooting

Your water bar is extremely reliable and requires almost no maintenance and
service, except for the replacement of the filter and UV lamp at predetermined
intervals. Please consult the following table to ensure that you are experiencing a
system fault, and not a problem with electricity or water supply.
Error
Water doesn't come out of
the device
When pressing the HOT
button:
A. The water that comes out is
not hot
B. Hot water does not come
out at all
When pressing the COLD
button:
A. The water that comes out is
not cold
B. Cold water does not come
out at all
Leakage from the device
An irregular flavor
The predetermined water
dispensing is not according
to the setting
If none of the above helps, please call our Customer Service department at:
• The water system is secure-open and the tanks are not pressurized (there are no
valves behind the hot and cold water tanks). Therefore, light dripping as a result of
water flow is standard and to be expected.
• The system is only intended to treat drinking water supplied from the water network.
Possible reasons
The device is not connected to
an electrical source
The electrical outlet is faulty
The main water outlet is closed
Water outage
It is necessary to reset the
control system
The heating system is not ON
Over-consumption of hot water Wait for approx. 3 minutes and check again
The device is in "Energy Saving"
mode
The device is in "Child Safety"
mode
The cold water temperature
is set too high
Over-consumption of cold
water
It is necessary to reset the
UV system
The drop collector is full
Leaks in the device
The device is new
The device was not in use for
a long period of time
The filter was not replaced
on time
Low water pressure at home
The filter was not replaced
on time
Activities for implementation
Verify that the device is connected to an
electrical source
Verify that the electrical outlet is in proper working
order by connecting another electrical device
Open the water outlet
Check to see if there is water in any other
outlets
Disconnect the device from the electric source
for several seconds and reconnect it
Verify that the heat switch on the back of the
device is in activated position (ON)
Wait until "Heating Done" is indicated
See Section 11.f on page 16
Check the cold water temperature setting
(see section 11.k on page 17)
Wait for approx. 15 minutes and check
again
Disconnect the UV lamp and reconnect it
Empty the drop collector
Disconnect the device from its electrical
source, close the water inlet and call for a
service technician
Execute an automatic flush (see section
12.d page 21)
Replace the filter and execute an
automatic flush
Check for a water pressure problem
Replace filter
