    IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Always empty the dust bin after vacuuming carpets, fresheners, powders and fine dust. These products clog the filters, reduce airflow and can cause damage to the vacuum cleaner. Failure to do so could cause permanent damage to the Vacuum cleaner.

    ASSEMBLY Always remove the plug from the power socket before fitting or removing accessories! Hose Assembly/Disassembly Insert the flexible hose into the suction inlet at the front of the appliance. Press until it clicks into position. To release the flexible hose, firmly squeeze the release buttons on both sides and pull out from the suction inlet.

    OPERATION Before you start the appliance, make sure that all filters are installed. Attach all required accessories onto the vacuum Fully unwind the power cord. A yellow mark on the power cable shows the ideal cable length. Do not extend the cable beyond the red mark! Plug the power cord into a suitable 220-240~50-60Hz outlet.

    CLEANING and MAINTENANCE EMPTYING THE VACUUM CLEANER The dust container should be emptied after each use or when there is a noticeable loss of suction Always unplug the unit from electrical outlet before removing the dust collection system. Disconnect the flexible suction hose. Press the dust container release button (1) Lift out the dust container from the Vacuum Cleaner.
  • Page 13 CLEANING THE FILTERS WARNING! The plug must be removed from the power socket before any maintenance or filter replacement. IMPORTANT The filters must be cleaned regularly for best suction performance and to prevent overheating leading to damage to your vacuum cleaner. Cleaning is best done at the same time as emptying the dust canister after you have finished vacuuming for the day.
  • Page 14 CLEANING THE EXHAUST FILTER The exhaust air filter cleans the air a final time before it leaves the vacuum cleaner. You can clean the exhaust air filter as follows: Switch off the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the plug from the mains. To do this, always pull on the plug and not on the cable.
  • Page 15 CLEANING THE VACUUM CLEANER When not in use or before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply. Never immerse the motor unit or cord in water or any other fluid, not rinse it under the tap. Use only a moist cloth to clean the motor unit. To clean the exterior, or to reduce static electricity and dust build-up, wipe the outer surface of the Vacuum cleaner and attachments.
