    5.4 Mechanical installation The SteamRock Premium is a wall-hanging device. It is mounted to the wall with 4 screws. Please ensure that the wall is able to carry the load of min. 45 kg. We recommend to allow certain reserve for safety.

At first screw in the two upper screws. As shown on the pic. 2. please make sure to leave 3 mm gap between the screw head and the wall surface.

    5.5 How to open water tank The water tank can be opened if required e.g. for servicing & maintenance as described below. 1. Disconnect the power supply and water supply to the steam generator. Remove the housing. 2. Undo 6 hexagonal nuts along the top edge of the water tank lid using an Allen key.

    5.6 Water supply and drain connection Important Notice: Please observe the EN 1717 / DIN 1988 and DIN 1986 / EN 12056 4 requirements. It must be ensured that the water may not flow back into the water supply system. If necessary the additional equipment has to be installed to prevent the back-flow.

    5.6 Steam pipe connection • The steam pipe should be heat-resistant to at least 110°C. We recommend copper or stainless steel pipes with Ø35 mm. Do not use small diameter steam pipes! • The steam pipeline should be reclining towards the steam outlet. Sharp angles should be avoided.

    6. Display panel The display panel may only be mounted out- side the cabin. Make sure that by the door opening the ca. 350 mm steam may not reach the control unit. This 188 mm may cause water condensation on the display panel and damage the entire system.

  • Page 23 Display panel installation Bottom housing installation First install the housing base into the cabin wall (see fig. 7 - 8): 1. Loosen 4 screws holding mounting brackets in the base 2. Pull the connection cable through the opening in the housing base. 3.

    7. Temperature sensor connection You should not install sensor bus or sauna bus lines and power supply lines together, or lead them through the same duct. Installing these together may leads to malfunctions in the electronics, e.g. error messages that the sensor cannot be recognised. Any cable shielding (if any) must be connected to the earth in the control unit.

    10. General operation advice The SteamRock Premium steam generator does not have an own power disconnection switch. If required such switch must be fitted additionally upon installation. The steam generator will there- fore remain connected to power and is controlled from the integrated external control panel.

    Multi-cabin connection and configuration The EmoTouch 3 control unit allows to control up to 8 separate cabins from one display panel. These can be saunas, steam rooms or hammams. The connection is made to the 4 connectors (ports) on the rear side of the display panel (see picture below). Please observe, that for each port connection a special ferrite ring should be added to the con- nection cable.
