5.4 Mechanical installation The SteamRock Premium is a wall-hanging device. It is mounted to the wall with 4 screws. Please ensure that the wall is able to carry the load of min. 45 kg. We recommend to allow certain reserve for safety.
Page 17
Drill 4 mounting holes in the wall as shown on the template below. If necessary use the appropriate dowels to securely mount the screws in the drilled holes. At first screw in the two upper screws. As shown on the pic. 2. please make sure to leave 3 mm gap between the screw head and the wall surface.
5.5 How to open water tank The water tank can be opened if required e.g. for servicing & maintenance as described below. 1. Disconnect the power supply and water supply to the steam generator. Remove the housing. 2. Undo 6 hexagonal nuts along the top edge of the water tank lid using an Allen key.
5.6 Water supply and drain connection Important Notice: Please observe the EN 1717 / DIN 1988 and DIN 1986 / EN 12056 4 requirements. It must be ensured that the water may not flow back into the water supply system. If necessary the additional equipment has to be installed to prevent the back-flow.
5.6 Steam pipe connection • The steam pipe should be heat-resistant to at least 110°C. We recommend copper or stainless steel pipes with Ø35 mm. Do not use small diameter steam pipes! • The steam pipeline should be reclining towards the steam outlet. Sharp angles should be avoided.
6. Display panel The display panel may only be mounted out- side the cabin. Make sure that by the door opening the ca. 350 mm steam may not reach the control unit. This 188 mm may cause water condensation on the display panel and damage the entire system.

7. Temperature sensor connection You should not install sensor bus or sauna bus lines and power supply lines together, or lead them through the same duct. Installing these together may leads to malfunctions in the electronics, e.g. error messages that the sensor cannot be recognised. Any cable shielding (if any) must be connected to the earth in the control unit.

If you use the power supply for terminals L1, L2 or L3 to power the circuit The lamp must have at least IP65 protec- connected to the Aux output, please ensure tion class and adequate heat resistance.
Remove the bridge before connection. 8.10 Power output adjustment SteamRock Premium steam generators allow to quickly adjust the power output upon installa- tion on site. You can reduce or increase the steam production in order to suit the steam room cabin size and construction.
8.11 Leakage current Please make sure to observe the DIN EN 60335-1:2012-10 norm in respect to the leakage current. This norm requires that the leakage current may not exceed the following limits at the normal operating temperature: “For stationary class I heating appliances - 0,75 mA or 0,75 mA per kW rated power input of the heating appliance with a maximum of 5 mA, whichever is higher.”...
