- Page 3 • WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater, or operate in close proximity to curtains, etc. Check air inlets and outlets from time to time for accumulated dust. • CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
- Page 4 • Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use. • Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on. • Do not leave your home while the appliance is in function: ensure that the switch is in OFF (0) position and the thermostat is in minimum position.

Power Settings Control BEFORE FIRST USE Before use, remove all packaging and inspect the appliance for any damage. If there appears to be any damage, please take the unit back to place of purchase for a replacement.
- Page 6 1. To turn on the heater, first turn on switch ‘1’. The top heating element of the heater will now glow. (Note: the thermostat has no effect in this lowest heat mode). 2. For high heat (without fan-assist), turn on the switches ‘1’ and ‘2’. The top and bottom heating elements will now glow, and the fan will turn on.
- Page 7 Note: The thermostat has no effect when the heater is in the lowest heat mode. i.e. when only switch ‘1’ is on. TIP-OVER PROTECTION This heater is equipped with a tip-over protection switch that is activated when the heater is tipped from its vertical position and automatically shuts off the heater.
