Chapter 4: Maintaining The DR ® PRO-62V STRING TRIMMER Regular maintenance is the way to ensure the best performance and long life of your machine. Please refer to this Chapter for maintenance intervals and procedures. Always remove the Battery Pack before performing any maintenance or repairs to your String Trimmer.

A Battery Pack may last much longer if you charge it as soon as it starts to lose power and not let it completely discharge. Recharge the Battery Pack as soon as the trimming power of your DR String Trimmer is no longer effective. This would be a good time to have a spare Battery Pack ready to go.
Most problems are easy to fix. Consult the Troubleshooting Table below for common problems and their solutions.
