3. Remove the heat sink. For details, see "Replacing the heat sink" on page 31.
4. Record the cable routing and cable connections, and then disconnect all cables from the system board.
5. Replace the microprocessor.
Note: Touch only the edges of the microprocessor. Do not touch the gold contacts on the bottom.
