USER INSTRUCTIONS

Before First Use

Read all instructions before first use and follow them carefully.
Wash all pieces, except base unit, in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly
before first use.
Do NOT immerse base in water or any other liquid.

How to Use

1. Prepare the fruit and vegetables before use.
2. Wash all produce before it is used.
3. As a general guideline, you do not need to peel any fruits and vegetables whose
skin you would normally eat.
4. Remove skin from thick skinned fruits, such as melon and pineapple.
5. Remove stones from cherries, peaches, nectarines etc.
6. Fruit containing small seeds, such as apples, do not need to be removed.
7. Cut the fruits and vegetables into small pieces that will fit easily into the cup.
Never attempt to force large items.
8. Place fruits and vegetables into cup.
9. Choose desired cup and place blade assembly onto cup by turning clockwise.
10. Turn cup upside down and place on base.
11. Line up the three tabs on the cup with the three notches on the base unit.
12. To have the blender on continuous mode, push cup down and turn clockwise to
lock into place.
13. To have blender on pulse mode, keep in line and push cup down for desired
blending time.
14. Once recipe is at desired consistency, turn off blender by pushing cup down and
turn counterclockwise.
15. Remove the cup and blade assembly from the base unit.
16. Remove the lid by turning it counter clockwise.
17. After you have poured the contents into the desired cup, wash the cup and blade
assembly in warm soapy water.
18. Unplug the Professional Nutrition Blender when not in use.
19. WARNING: The blades are very sharp - handle with care.
20. NOTE: The blender should not run for more than 30 seconds continuously. After
30 seconds, allow 1-2 minutes to cool down. If it overheats it will cut out
automatically and reset when sufficiently cool.
21. CAUTION: If the blade stops during continuous blending, a hard ingredient may
be stuck in the blade. Unplug the appliance, take the blade/cup assembly off the
motor base and shake the cup which should free the food from the blade. Return
the blade/cup to the motor unit and continue to blend.
