Note To remove/install the tubes proceed as described in chapter Removing standard reaction tubes of the vario EL cube main operating instructions. Phase 2: Removal of components not needed Before starting the installation of the new components, certain components have to be removed. The removal is described in the following.
General information The TIC solids module The TIC solids module is an auxiliary unit to the vario EL cube. The knowledge of the vario EL cube operating instructions is also prerequisite for the proper operation of the TIC solids module.
The operational reliability of the SoliTIC module can only be guaranteed if original consumables and original spare parts from ELEMENTAR Analysensysteme GmbH will be used. When using other consumables or chemicals of unsufficient quality injuries of the operating personnel or damages at the instrument may occur.

Filling the acid container Refill the acid container. Renewal of the drying tube filling in the vario EL cube instrument. The Sicapent® filling gets blue by consumption. Accordingly replace the drying tube filling in the vario EL cube instrument.
Enter the data of the sample to be analyzed, like "Hole pos", "Name", "Density" and "Method". Equip the tray with the vials corresponding to the data input. Start the vario EL cube by clicking the "Single" or "Auto" symbol. ...

Phase 2: Installing the vario LS autosampler Proceed as follows: Mount the liquid sample onto the vario EL cube according to the operating instructions of the vario LS. Connect tube no. 5 and tube no. 26 with the furnished tube no. 71.
Calibration General The vario EL cube has a calibrated set of coefficients which can be used. This is already calibrated in solids mode or may be generated here. If a different procedure is requested, Elementar suggests the following calibration for CHNS in liquid operation.
Exchange of the septum for injection. Exchange of the combustion tubes. In addition, the maintenance of the basic instrument remain. Please refer to the vario EL cube main operating instructions. Note We recommend to determine the maintenance intervals via Options > Maintenance > Intervals in...
