My photos have been backed up on the Sandisk iXpand flash drive. Then I delete a photo on my iphone. Afterwards, my photos are backed up again on to the Sandisk drive. Would the deleted photo still be available from the backup on the Sandisk flash drive?

Yes, deleted photos from your iPhone will still be available on the SanDisk iXpand flash drive after a backup. The backup process does not automatically remove deleted photos from the drive. When performing an auto-backup, you will be asked whether you want to keep the backed-up data on your device. If you choose to delete them from your iPhone, they will still remain on the iXpand drive unless manually removed.
