4. Using an unlock pattern Set an unlock pattern to secure your phone. Tap Menu Key > Apps tab > Settings > Lock screen > Select screen lock > Pattern. This opens a screen that will guide you through how to draw a screen unlock pattern. You have to create a Backup PIN as a safety measure in case you forget your unlock pattern.
Important notice 5. Opening and switching applications Multi-tasking is easy with Android, you can keep more than one application running at the same time. There is no need to quit an application before opening another one. Use and switch between several open applications. Android manages each application, stopping and starting them as needed to ensure that idle applications don't consume resources unnecessarily.
