1. Turn the unit OFF by sliding to the Power Off position.
2. Remove the bin and either dispose of the paper shreds or compress the

be illuminated and the unit will not power on until the bin is properly inserted.
4. Slide the power switch to Auto On to resume normal operation.
OVERHEATING:
This shredder is equipped with a temperature sensor device that protects
the motor from heat damage. If the device senses the motor is too hot, it will
automatically turn off the shredder and the red Overheat LED indicator will
illuminate. This is normal. If this happens, you shredder will need approximately
60 minutes to cool. Once the Overhead LED indicator is no longer illuminated,
you can continue shredding as normal.
OVERLOAD:

will automatically stop shredding. When this occurs, slide the switch to Manual

and continue with no more than the maximum stated capacity.
To clear a paper jam, see Troubleshooting section.

MAINTENANCE:

Apply lubricant after 30 minutes of shredding or a minimum of twice per month.
Only shredder lubricant sheets or bottled lubricant designed specifically for
shredders should be used. Follow the instructions provided with the shredder
lubricant. NEVER USE AN AEROSOL LUBRICANT, or any lubricant that is
flammable. Refer to the warnings provided in this shredder manual.

Boxis auto shredder-yellow light comes on, but pull-out basket is empty, and shredder will not run. Pushed in basket completely all to no avail.

The Boxis Autoshred AF100 may show a yellow light and not run even when the pull-out basket is empty if the basket is not correctly positioned in the shredder housing. The shredder has a built-in safety feature that prevents operation if the basket is improperly assembled or missing. Ensure the basket is properly inserted to allow the shredder to function.

I have the Boxis 150 sheet shredder. It will not automatically feed. I can get it to work by holding down the V button. How can I get it working properly.

To fix the automatic feeding issue on your Boxis Autoshred AF100 shredder:

1. Slide the power switch to the Manual Reverse position to reverse any jammed paper.
2. Lift the safety cover and remove any stuck paper from the auto feed tray.
3. Close the safety cover securely.
4. Insert paper into the auto feed tray to resume normal operation.

Also, make sure:
- The shredder is plugged in.
- The power switch is set to Auto On.
- The waste bin is empty and correctly positioned.

Avoid inserting folded paper, and do not add more paper to the tray while it is in use.
