Entering Text With Qwerty

To type text using the standard keyboard, you
should use the Qwerty input mode. As you type,
each letter appears above your thumb or finger. The
letter is not entered until you release your finger
from the key. To switch input method to the Qwerty
mode:
Tap a text field, such as in a note or new

contact, to open the input panel.
Tap and hold the Numbers and Symbols icon

and select Qwerty Keyboard as your input
method.
