Ping The Ping sub-menu allows you to ping a host name or IP address directly from the Mitel MiVoice 6900 Series IP phone. This tool can be used to verify whether or not network connections between the Mitel MiVoice 6900 Series IP phone and other network endpoints are intact.
The IP phone displays the number of packets sent, the number of packets received, and the Round-Trip Time (RTT) min/avg/max in milliseconds. To use the ping tool on the Mitel MiVoice 6940 IP phone: 1. Press the (Settings) key on the phone to enter the Static Settings menu.

Upload File Although the Upload File option on the Mitel Web UI allows you to upload a file to a defined folder on the Mitel MiVoice 6900 Series IP Phone, it is recommended that files are not uploaded to your IP phone.
