Please read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place for future reference. When switched on for the first time a slight odour might be emitted for a few minutes. This is harmless and occurs with most heaters when any slight traces of dust or lubricants that may have collected in the factory are heated away.
- Page 3 Safety Information • Before connecting the appliance check that the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home. • Only connect the appliance to a.c. mains as specified on the rating label! • All liability is disclaimed for any frost damage caused by a heating capacity that is insufficient for the room size, bad heat insulation of the room, incorrect use or force majeure. • Never touch live parts! Danger to life! • Never operate the appliance with wet hands! Danger to life! • Do not store or use any flammable materials or sprays in the vicinity of the appliance! - Page 5 Operating Instructions Operation: Stand the heater on a horizontal, flat and even surface and at least 120 cms of safe distance to walls, subjects, furniture and buildings. Do not stand on an unstable surface, e.g., to a bed or a long pile carpet (the appliance could overturn). - Page 6 Cleaning and Storage Cleaning • Press the „ POWER“ button (A – Fig. 2) to “0/OFF“ position and unplug the heater from the electrical outlet and let cool off the fan heater. • Remove the mains plug from the wall socket. • You may clean the outside of the heater with a damp cloth. Do not allow water to come into the appliance. • Clean the air inlet and outlet grilles regularly (with normal use at least twice a year) with a vacuum cleaner, using the brush attachment. • Do not use any abrasive or caustic cleaning agents! • Use a damp cloth or brush to clean the housing. • Do not use water! Never immerse the appliance in water! Danger to life! • If the appliance is not going to be used for some time, it should be protected against excessive dust and dirt. Storage Keep the original box in which the convector was packed to store it during the warmer months when it is not in use.
