How to use your refrigerator correctly and effectively

Temperature Control

• The temperature control knob for both the refrigerator and the freezer should usually be set at the middle
position respectively. However, if necessary, the temperature can be adjusted as described below.
• During temperature adjustment, Freezer and Refrigerator controls must be adjusted together since they are
inter-linked.

Adjusting the Freezer Compartment Temperature

• If the freezer compartment does not cold enough, turn the knob toward "FREEZER MAX". If the freezer
compartment is too cold, turn the knob toward "REFRIGERATOR MAX".
• When storing ice cream, the temperature should be set near "FREEZER MAX".
Adjusting the Fridge Compartment Temperature
• If the refrigerator does not cold enough, turn the knob toward "HI".
• Changing the fridge compartment temperature control also varies the temperature in the vegetable
compartment.
• 1. For normal cold setting in both compartments, control knob (#) in Freezer sets to "NORMAL" and control
knob (*) in fridge compartment sets to "MID".
• 2. For the maximum cold setting in both compartments, control knob (*) in fridge compartment sets to "HI".
• 3. For the maximum cold setting in Freezer, control knob (#) in Freezer sets to "FREEZER MAX" and control
knob (*) in fridge compartment sets to "HI". (Remark: This setting is recommended to be set when
tremendous food to be stored in Freezer.)
