    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D KEY FOB Description Of Key Fob The key fob contains the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) key fob and an emergency key, which stores in the rear of the key fob. The emergency key allows for entry into the vehicle should the battery in the vehicle or the key fob go dead.
  • Page 15 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Emergency Key Should the battery in the vehicle or the key fob go dead, there is an emergency key located in the key fob. • To remove the emergency key, slide the but- ton at the back of the key fob sideways with your thumb and then pull the key out with your other hand.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D REMOTE START Push the Remote Start button on the key fob twice within five seconds. Pushing the Remote Start button a third time shuts the engine off. To drive the vehicle, push the unlock button and cycle the ignition to the ON/RUN position.

With one of the vehicle's Keyless Enter-N-Go key fobs located outside the vehicle and within 5 ft (1.5m) of the driver's or passenger front door handle, push the door handle button to lock all four doors and trunk.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D TRUNK EMERGENCY RELEASE As a security measure, a Trunk Internal Emergency Release lever is built into the trunk latching mechanism. In the event of an individual being locked inside the trunk, the trunk can be opened by actuating the glow-in-the-dark handle attached to the trunk latching mechanism.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Adjustable Upper Shoulder Belt Anchorage In the driver and front passenger seats, the top of the shoulder belt can be adjusted upward or downward to position the seat belt away from your neck. Push or squeeze the anchorage button to release the anchorage, and move it up or down to the position that serves you best.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Event Data Recorder (EDR) This vehicle is equipped with an event data recorder (EDR). The main purpose of an EDR is to record, in certain crash or near crash-like situations, such as an air bag deployment or hitting a road obstacle, data that will assist in understanding how a vehicle’s systems performed.

Use the seat belt and tether anchor instead of the LATCH system once the combined weight is more than 65 lbs (29.5 kg).

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D SEATING FRONT SEATS Power Seats On models equipped with power seats, the switches are located on the outboard side of the seat near the floor. Use these switches to move the driver’s seat up or down, forward or rearward or to recline the seatback.
  • Page 33 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Adjusting The Seat Up Or Down The height of the seats can be adjusted up or down. Pull upward or push downward on the seat switch. The seat will move in the direction of the switch. Release the switch when the desired position is reached.
  • Page 34 G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Power Lumbar Vehicles equipped with power driver or passenger seats may also be equipped with power lumbar. The power lumbar switch is located on the outboard side of the power seat. Push the switch forward or rearward to increase or decrease the lumbar support.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D Vehicles Equipped With Remote Start On models that are equipped with remote start, the driver’s ventilated seat can be programmed to come on during a remote start. This feature can be programmed through the Uconnect system.

    G E T T I N G S T A R T E D ADJUSTABLE PEDALS The adjustable pedals system is designed to allow a greater range of driver comfort for steering wheel tilt and seat position. If your vehicle is equipped with this feature, it will allow you to adjust the brake and accelerator pedals toward or away from the driver to provide improved position with the steering wheel.
