HPE Smart Storage Administrator HPE SSA is the main tool for configuring arrays on HPE Smart Array SR controllers. It exists in three interface formats: the HPE SSA GUI, the HPE SSA CLI, and HPE SSA Scripting. All formats provide support for configuration tasks.

The loss of a single fan rotor (one standard fan) causes loss of redundancy. The loss of two fan rotors (2 standard fans or 1 high-performance fan) causes the server to initiate a shut down. The high-performance fans are used for 8-SFF +2SFF NVMe and 10 SFF drive configurations when NVMe drives are installed in the server.
