The Record Prepare Mode on Your Controller

With
REC
disabled, press and hold
After a second, the following displays appear:

While holding REC, turn Knob 2 (GRID) to adjust the Pattern Grid resolution.

While holding REC, to adjust the Pattern Length for the Pattern in which you are about to
record, you can turn Knob 1 (LENGTH) or press Button 5–8 to directly select from the
four length presets available: 2, 4, 8, or

Release REC.
The Record mode is engaged

PLAY
to start the sequencer (if it's not done already) and play the pads to start re-
cording! See section
