3-5 Battery Pack

This section describes how to use the battery pack.

• Charging the Battery Pack

Your VisionPlate comes with a lithium ion battery pack, which is not fully charged. You must
fully charge the battery before you use your VisionPlate. The battery is charged by attaching a
battery pack to your VisionPlate, connecting the AC adapter to the VisionPlate, and then plugging
the AC adapter into an electrica

• The Charge Lamp

The charge lamp has four modes, which describe different states of the battery:
1. Orange: The battery is being charged.
2. Green: The battery has finished charging and is fully charged.
3. Off: The battery is in use, and there is sufficient charge
4. Blinking red: The battery is in use and there is low charge.

• Battery Charging Time

Battery charging time as follows:
- S size battery (1700mAh): approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
- L size battery (3400mAh): approximately 4.5 to 5.5 hours.
NOTE: The charging time varies with the environment, number and type of peripheral
