The red "Service Required" light and beeping on the DeVilbiss 525DS machine indicate a problem that needs attention. Possible causes include:

1. The flow meter is not properly set. Ensure it is set to the prescribed number.
2. The air filter is blocked. Check and clean it if needed.
3. The exhaust is blocked. Ensure nothing is restricting the exhaust area.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, contact your DeVilbiss provider. Additionally, if the oxygen concentration drops below 60%, the red light and beeping alert will activate.

From the flow meter the oxygen passes through the final bacteria filter and finally the oxygen outlet port to the patient. The DeVilbiss Oxygen Concentrator operates on a timed cycle (3.6 sec. @ 5LPM) that is controlled by the PC board. The PC board will send voltage to the valve causing it to shift and alternately pressurize the sieve beds.
