Install MegaWin software and ME6000 device driver to the PC. (For detailed instructions please see MegaWin Complete English User’s Manual). Connect the ME6000 device to the PC USB port and start MegaWin software. Open MegaWin program and choose the right COM port settings in System Setup. - Page 7 Use only parts specified and supplied by Mega Electronics Ltd. WARNING You should use a medical approved Isolation Transformer when using ME6000 with USB connection. If the PC or its accessories are near the WARNING patient environment it is recommended to use the Isolation Transformer also when using WLAN connection.

Follow these general instructions when handling the system devices: Handle the device carefully. This section is intended to help you with your first measurements. For the beginner user of MegaWin, it is useful to divide the process into four stages: Creating a Person record - that is the personal record of the examinee on which you are about to perform the measurement. -

Protocols are discussed extensively in Chapter 9 Complete English MegaWin manual. However, you should note here that MegaWin 2.x has a wizard style editor for creating protocol. This feature makes the task of creating protocol much easier and faster compare to previous MegaWin versions. Also, MegaWin comes with several existing typical protocols, which you can use for your first measurements. -

At this stage, after you’ve made numerous measurements you can try out some of these features in order to get familiar with the software. MegaWin also comes with an existing demo database which you can use for this purpose as well. -

Update firmware Wireless (available only if WLAN is allowed in the license) 3.1. Connection tab The Connection tab has the settings for making the connection to ME6000 device. ME6000 Manager - Connection. Select the connection method, USB-cable (COM port) if you don’t have WLAN option or you want to edit the Wireless profiles. -
