Hi, I would like to set up this so I can view the camera output on my mobile device. Please can you advise how I do this?
You can set up the Swann DVR4-4550 to view camera output on your mobile device using the SwannView Link app. Follow these steps:
1. Install the App: Download and install the free SwannView Link app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
2. Connect the DVR: Ensure the DVR4-4550 is connected to your network using the provided Ethernet cable.
3. Configure Encoding Settings (Optional):
- The DVR supports a Main Stream resolution of 3MP (2048 x 1536) at 8fps and a Sub Stream resolution of Q720p (320 x 180).
- If experiencing streaming issues, lower the Sub Stream bitrate to reduce data usage but note that it may affect video quality.
4. Access DVR on App:
- Open the SwannView Link app.
- Add your DVR by entering its details (such as IP address or scanning a QR code if available).
- Select the camera you want to view.
