My Transmitter on my TP-205 won't turn on even with new batteries. Screen remains blank after pushing the on/off button.

The ThermoPro TP-20 transmitter may not turn on even with new batteries due to a defective button. The provided information indicates that pressing the ºF/ºC button, which is supposed to turn the transmitter on or off, does nothing. Additionally, the only way to turn the device off is by removing the batteries, suggesting a malfunction in the button or internal circuitry.
