Adjust Steering Levers See Figure 35. If adjusting tire pressure did not correct tracking problem: 1. Loosen jam nut on adjustment bolt of steering lever that needs adjustment. 2. Adjust drive wheel speed. • Turn adjustment bolt counterclockwise to increase steering lever travel and drive wheel speed. - Page 33 5. Remove deck drive belt from rear drive pulley. See Figure 38. ADJUST MOWER DECK CAUTION: AVOID INJURY. Use sturdy gloves or padding to protect hands when working with mower blades. Rotation of one blade rotates the other blades. Level Mower Deck IMPORTANT: Make sure unit is on a flat, level surface and that tires are inflated to the recommended pressures. - Page 35 • If the front tip of the blade is ± 0.635 cm (1/4") lower than the rear, no adjustment is needed. • If adjustments are needed, adjust the nylon locking flange nut on the deck link. Tighten the nut to raise the deck; loosen the nut to lower the deck.
