- Page 2 Introduction Thank you for your purchasing our product. Alcofind DA-8000 is a breathalyzer with a fuel cell sensor. It offers enhanced accuracy and it's easy to carry with you. It's the entry-level unit for the professional use such as screening, clinics, military and many other segments which require high-accuracy and high-reliability.
- Page 3 How To Use CAUTION : Please do not blow hard, the sensor can be damaged by a small amount of saliva. 1. Initial Use Press down the battery cover of the unit to open it and install two AA size 1.5 V alkalin e batteri es paying attention to the battery polarity. Close the battery cover and insert the mouthpiece to the slot.

How to adjust "flow detecting setting" a) Press the start button and the unit displays the total number of tests performed for a second and then displays b) Press and hold the mode button for more than 5 seconds till the unit displays Press mode button shortly till the unit displays c) You can adjust flow detecting setting by pressing start button.
