The Generic IO is mapped to GGIO nodes as follows:
GGIO1 – This logical node is mapped to "Remote outputs". 8 Series supports 32 remote
outputs. The User can configure them in the IEC61850 Configurator -> "Settings" tab
GGIO2 – This logical node is mapped to "Contact input" in the 8 Series
GGIO3 – This logical node is mapped to "Virtual input". 8 Series supports 32 virtual inputs.
The User can configure virtual inputs in 8 Series setpoints -> Input -> Virtual Inputs.
GGIO4 – This logical node is mapped to "Virtual output". 8 Series supports upto 32 Virtual
outputs. The User can configure virtual outputs using the FlexLogic / Logic Designer
feature
GGIO5 – This logical node is mapped to "Remote input". 8 Series supports upto 32 remote
inputs. The User can configure remote inputs in the IEC61850 configurator -> "GOOSE
Reception" tab
GGIO6 – Contact output / output relays
Each logical node within the preceding tables support all mandatory attributes in addition
to the optional data attributes (that are supported within the protection element). See
figure PDIF Class.
