Inserting a SIM Card

Insert a SIM card (not supplied) to use the mobile communications function.
Xperia™ Tablet S supports mini-SIM cards (2FF). Using a card other than a mini-SIM card (2FF) or one with an adapter may
damage the SIM card slot.

When the tablet is turned
off, open the SD memory
card slot cover.

Insert a pin or small
paper clip (not supplied)
into the SIM card eject
hole . Eject the SIM tray
.
Note
A label is attached to the SIM
 
tray. Pull the label to pull out
the SIM tray.

Remove the label and
place a SIM card on
the SIM tray so that the
cutout of the SIM card fits
that of the SIM tray.
Make sure there are no
protrusions on the cutting
surface of the SIM card.
Insert the SIM tray and Notes
close the SD memory
Insert the SIM tray correctly

into the SIM card slot (A,
card slot cover.
lower slot). Make sure not to
insert the SIM tray into the SD
memory card slot (B, upper
slot).
Make sure not to insert

the SIM tray in the reverse
direction.
Make sure the cover closes

securely (p. 11).
