HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 User Guide Abstract This document is for the person who installs, administers, and troubleshoots servers and storage systems. Hewlett Packard Enterprise assumes you are qualified in the servicing of computer equipment and trained in recognizing hazards in products with hazardous energy levels.

DIMM ranks To understand and configure memory protection modes properly, an understanding of DIMM rank is helpful. Some DIMM configuration requirements are based on these classifications. A single-rank DIMM has one set of memory chips that is accessed while writing to or reading from the memory.

Retaining the recovery key/password About this task The recovery key/password is generated during BitLocker setup, and can be saved and printed after BitLocker is enabled. When using BitLocker, always retain the recovery key/password. The recovery key/ password is required to enter Recovery Mode after BitLocker detects a possible compromise of system integrity.
