I need to install a new gas cylinder in our Billi Quadra. I have removed the old cylinder from the pressure gauge, turned the black knob right down to the minus sign, turned the water and power supplies off and released any pressure in the unit using the pressure release button. I have screwed the pressure regulator on to a new gas cylinder; the black pressure adjusting knob is still right down on minus, but the gauge is showing a pressure reading - it has slowly climbed to 7 bar and may continue rising. What is going on?
If the pressure gauge on a new gas cylinder for a Billi Quadra shows a rising pressure reading after installation, check the bottle and connections for leaks using soapy water to test for bubbles. Also, ensure that the ¼" tube and push-fit fittings have settled properly when the pressure is turned on.
