When starting your BBQ fire add your desired charcoal and wood and light it. Next attach your BBQ Blower and put the switch on manual operation to help regulate the airflow to get the fire going. Once you have a good fire, start adjusting your stack damper (Lid) slightly towards the closed position until your temperature starts to lower. -

Let the Perfect Draft BBQ Blower do its job CAUTION: Always connect the Heat Shield to the BBQ Blower while it’s connected to the fire box failure to do so can result in damage to the outer shell of the Blower. If the BBQ Pit temperature exceeds 400 degrees disconnect the BBQ Blower until the temperature drops below 400 degrees. -
