IR LEDs (for low light recording) ‐ While the unit is recording, press the “POWER” button to turn the IR (infrared) LEDs to assist low light or night time recording. Recording, Photo & Playback Settings Menu ‐ While on REC, Photo or Playback mode, press the “MENU” button once to access the Video, Photo or Playback mode settings respectively. ‐ Press the “UP” or “DOWN” buttons to move up or down in the menu settings ‐ Press the “REC” button to select a setting. Using the Program 1. Create a new folder in your computer (anywhere you prefer) called “Car Event Recorder Player” 2. Insert the supplied CD into your computer. 3. Open the CD and double‐click on the zipped file to open. 4. Right‐click on the .exe file and select “Extract Files…” 5. Find the folder you created in step 1, and extract to it. 6. Once it has been extracted, go back to the CD and double‐click on the codec file. Follow the instructions on screen to install. 7. Select the file you would like to view, and press the Play button. The video, GPS, G‐Sensor, speed sensor and compass will all work at the same time to give you information. NOTE: The red side of the compass arrow points to the direction of travel. When the video is opened to full screen, only the video will be seen on screen. Double‐click the screen or press the ESC key to exit full screen mode. To save a screenshot of the video, press the ‘Print Screen’ button.
